The staff and Governors of Witham St Hughs Academy value and take pride in our Academy dress code and believe that uniform nurtures a sense of belonging, which is in keeping with the aims and values of the Academy. There is no obligation to purchase branded uniform.
Details of the uniform are as follows:
- Trousers / Shorts/ Skirts/ Pinafores : Grey
- Shirts / Polo Shirts : White
- Shoes (not trainers) : Black
- Jumpers / Cardigans : Royal Blue
- Summer Dresses : Blue / White
- PE Kit : White T-shirt, black shorts and plimsoles/trainers
- Black hooded jumper & tracksuit bottoms for PE lessons in colder weather
- Y6 tie (provided by the Academy)
- Y3 watch (provided by the Academy)
All items of clothing should be labelled with the child’s full name. Uniform can also be purchased from www.yourschooluniform.com. Via this website, uniform will be delivered directly to the Academy at no extra charge, or can be delivered to your home for a small fee. The delivery time is usually within 7 working days. Uniform can equally be purchased from any high street retailer. There is absolutely no obligation for pupils to wear items with the Academy logo.
Items which are year group specific (watches in Year 3 and ties in Year 6) are provided to pupils free of charge by the Academy. If needed, replacements can be purchased by following the links below.
We have a pre-loved uniform rail in the foyer throughout the year – please always feel free to take whatever you need.
