Due to attainment in Phonics, Witham St Hughs Academy, has been appointed by the Department for Education as a Specialist English Hub. One of only 34 centres nationally, the English Hub has been designated to support schools in developing: Early Language Development, Age Appropriate Phonics Provision, Promoting a Love of Reading.
