This special event is all about encouraging healthy lifestyles, building confidence, celebrating participation and bringing our school community together through sport. Throughout the day, pupils will challenge themselves to complete a fun run suitable for their age group while supporting their classmates and cheering one another on.
We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm our children show when embracing new challenges, and we cannot wait to see them demonstrating determination, teamwork and sporting spirit.
At Witham St Hughs Academy, we believe every child should have access to exciting sporting opportunities, regardless of their experience or ability.

The focus is on participation and enjoyment. Every child will be encouraged to do their best while having fun and supporting others.
To add to the excitement, pupils are invited to come to school wearing sports clothing for the day or alternatively they can choose to come dressed as their favourite sporting hero.
Fancy dress is completely optional. Children could be a footballer, athlete, gymnast, rugby player, cricketer or any other sporting inspiration. Children are equally welcome to wear their normal sports clothing.
Every pound raised will help enhance sporting opportunities for children at Witham St Hughs Academy and ensure that all pupils can enjoy a wide range of activities both in and beyond the classroom.
